My local Bangladeshi shop
had these two packaging
design treasures:

Book Club....

Alicia and I went to 'Blood on paper' at the V&A
on Friday evening. In the foyer there was a DJ,
a bar and tables full of old books. You were
invited to take a book, customise it, then swap
it with someone else. We were so engrossed in
the customising that we forgot all about the
show itself! Maybe next weekend....









I'll add at this point, I have only posted
pictures of 'Lic's efforts, as mine were
so poor!

at the Museum of Childhood, Bethnal Green.
A reminder of just how good Olympic posters can be,
and just how bad the London 2012 logo is!

April Fools....

It hailed.......


......then the sun shone.

Blackboard of truth....

In my house sits a blackboard upon which
is written the truth. Usually bills or
phone numbers to call, this particular
shot recalls the morning after the night
before. The 24hr beigal shop was visited
by Liam who finally took my advice on
which filling is clearly the best.

Aooogaaaa!...

So I found out last week that a girl
in the year below me at school was
going to be on the new series of
Gladiators. Shirley Webb is no longer.
Battleaxe has been born. (I'll spare
my friend's blushes regarding a fateful
New Year's Eve that he spent with her!)

Roots....

Although it's my home town I'm gonna have
to agree with David Shrigley on this one.
