New York, New York....

....Start spreading the news.
I've booked to go to NYC for Halloween / Marathon
weekend. I'll be joining Ed, who is running said
marathon and Lorenzo who is going for a jolly like
me. Looking forward seeing both Andreas & Matt out
there too.

....a couple of old ads I was reminded of today.

Adam's travels....

....Mr Blencowe has decided to ride his motorbike from
London to Delhi. He's hoping all 125cc will get him there,
but I'm not sure whether it's bravery or stupidity!
He is updating a blog of his trip, which is sure to throw

Ruth in London....

....for the weekend. I caught up with her today whilst
perusing the markets in the East End.

Skype....

....I have finally joined the Skype clan after I got
a web cam & microphone from mum & dad. I've
made a few calls already, but I felt this afternoon's
natter with Nana deserved a screen grab. She's the
most tech 80 year old I know.....if only she figured
out how to point the camera at her face!

TBC's pizza parlour....

....Home made pizza, pissing about on bikes and
fixie dvds. Lovely. TBC continues.

Uprock....

....I've spotted these uprock artworks all over
London, but never knew who was responsible.
Now I do - Andy Uprock.
Made out of plastic cups wedged in to wire fences,
Uprock creates fantastic typographic images against
a usually mundane urban backdrop.

Exposure....

....Just opened up the latest Vice magazine and spotted
Andreas' ad for Lee Jeans. Check out his website and if
you're ever in Brooklyn, NYC then try and hook up.

Roy Bupa....

....Clearly Bupa caught a glance of me before
pushing forward with their latest ad campaign:

....Replacement tyre needed after skidding this one out.

Rain Man....

....A new umbrella for Doug from James Smith & Sons.

Warped....

....Whilst scrolling through ffffound, I saw the work
of Stephan Balleux, a Belgian artist. The textures of
the paint and warped faces are incredible. The latter
almost Francis Bacon-esque.

Bugsy's Beast....

....Bugsy & Ross have been busy directing Wild Beasts'
latest video 'Brave Bulging Buoyant Clairvoyants'.
Under the name OneInThree they have added to their
great portfolio by creating a hypnotic visual remeniscent
of Op Art and the Bauhaus era. Good work chaps.

....has a temporary exhibition 'Family' at Rochelle School,
Arnold Circus, E2. Amongst the illustrations and the curiosity
shop was a living room built entirely from cardboard. Nice.
