TBC Bhuna & Bikes....

....Photos:

....Film:
We are all having a blast on our bikes, practicing new things
and egging each other on. So far, Ed is leading the pack -
check this montage, (minus a backwards trackstand that my
camera missed!)

Art & bikes.....

....This evening I went to the Cosa Gallery on Bethnal
Green Road to see the Saatchi Online show in which
Joss is exhibiting. It is part of the Concrete & Glass
Festival and showcases upcoming artists.

I then went with Ed to the Barbican cinema for the first night
of the Bicycle Film Festival. A series of shorts were well received
over a (massive) pack of Maltesers. A trick session in a local
disused shopping arcade follwed.

More good things come to those....

....who wait.
After 16 months, I finally had my front two teeth fixed permanently in to my mouth. See the whole saga below.

Good things come to those....

....who wait.
I managed to sneak my way in to a Guinness press
ad through one of the creative teams at work.

Elbow....

....Have made a beautiful album. I'm not ashamed of jumping
on the post Mercury Award Winning bandwagon. One Day Like This
is the stand out trackfor me - lyrically and musically perfect.

Final day....*DELAYED*

....Tonight, (now next Tuesday), my gap is no more. At 5.30pm the space
left by my missing two front teeth will be filled.
Forever. I'm hoping it's a simple procedure to turn
me from all all this:

Stace's Place....

....Looks like a Wallpaper* interiors shoot. Nice.

Dad in London....

....for a couple of days. Staying at l'hotel du Roy of course!
We went for dinner tonight at a newly opened Italian up the
road - so small it's not listed anywhere and it's only item on
the menu is pasta......still, good pasta mind. And real cheap.

Magic Paint & It Might Never Happen....

....Alicia and Louise's design collective, Knock Knock Design,
have created two new stop frame mini films. Loving it - and the
music. Good work.

Thanks for the post Calvin.

Liam's new set up....

....I joined Liam on a voyage out to Putney so he could
purchase a new track bike. He is now the proud owner
of a beautifully restored 1950 Holdsworth:

Seizure!....

....Roger Hiorns has created an art installation within
a disused London tenemant. 'Seizure' shows blue crystals
formed on the walls of the flat after he pumped a copper sulphate
solution in to the bedsit and left it for several weeks. When
drained, the crystal growth was revealed.

Roy & Lorenzo....

....After seeing new cycling magazine The Ride, which featured
testimonials alongside illustrative work, I spoke to Lorenzo
about sending in our own piece. I decided to write about the
day I lost my front teeth in a cycling accident. 'Zo created the
accompanying illustration. This is the result, which we'll submit
shortly. Here's hoping it'll get printed.....

Marathon Man....

....Ed is (foolishly) running the New York
Marathon. However, he is (admirably) raising
money for Bowel Cancer UK at the same time.
Click here to sponsor him and therefore
donate to charity. Ed is even growing a
'tasche for the event, not to be shaved until
November 2nd. Here's a pic from the weekend:
